And just when you think you’ve had the BEST mince pie of the season…..Alan Taylor rocks up with the BEST mince pie EVER. Filled with his own fruit mince & sweetened cream cheese with pastry shorter than a publicans’ memory. We didn’t even wait for the kettle to boil to enjoy these babies. Thank you Alan, this could be the start of the annual Dufferin Arms BEST mince pie competition…. so far you win. Merry Christmas.

So a few of us….. (Adam, Mark Austy & myself) were just tasting a few Christmas Cocktails……Santas Kiss & White Christmas got tonight’s vote however, if anyone was in the bar Saturday night you might have seen our Marky sampling the “Frostbite” & loving life.
What’s not to love with a bar full of lights, cameras & cocktails……I love my job!

Santa is on his way to Killyleagh THIS SUNDAY 1st DEC & will be at the Castle from 4pm to turn on the lights but the Christmas fun starts way before that with the Coaching Inn’s fabulous festive Craft Fair from 1pm.
We are serving GREAT PUB GRUB, coffees & mince pies & of course hot chocolates all day from 12pm.
